Hop aboard this 14-day trip down Australia’s east coast and make the most of the time you do have. Offering a solid mix of must-do experiences and uncommon adventures, you’ll learn to surf at Byron Bay, sail the Whitsundays and trek through Mossman Gorge in the Daintree Rainforest. Day 1 Cairns
Arrive at any time.
Day 2 Cairns/Cape Tribulation(1B, 1L)
Head north to Cape Tribulation. Stop en route to explore Mossman Gorge and take an interpretive walk through the Daintree Rainforest.
Day 3 Cape Tribulation(1B)
With a free day, opt for a trip to the Great Barrier Reef or to explore Daintree National Park.
Day 4 Cape Tribulation/Cairns(1B)
Return to Cairns in the afternoon with free time explore this laid-back city.
Day 5 Cairns/Airlie Beach(1B)
Depart early for a full day of travel to reach Airlie Beach with time to explore the town.
Day 6 Airlie Beach(1L)
Set sail for a day in the Whitsunday Islands and visit to the Great Barrier Reef. Opt to swim or snorkel and enjoy a day at sea around these stunning islands. Return to Airlie Beach for the night.
Day 7 Airlie Beach/Byron Bay
Fly to Brisbane and transfer to Byron Bay for two nights in this "hippie" paradise.
Day 8 Byron Bay
Hit the waves with an included surf lesson and yoga warm-up. Spend the afternoon wandering the town or taking part in a multitude of optional activities.
Day 9 Byron Bay/Bellingen
Head to the historic town of Bellingen. Enjoy an afternoon canoe trip to learn the history of the area and experience the pristine beauty along the Bellinger River. Spend the night in an historic country pub or lodge with gardens.
Day 10 Bellingen/Sydney
Experience a local breakfast in Bellingen before continuing on to Sydney for a night in the bustling city.
Day 11 Sydney/Blue Mountains
Enjoy some free time in Sydney with an included Jet Boat ride before taking an afternoon train to the Blue Mountains region.
Day 12 Blue Mountains
Explore the area around Leura and Katoomba including The Three Sisters. Opt to take a walk in Jamison Valley and take the Scenic Railway, the steepest railway in the world. Afternoon visit to the Jenolan Caves.
Day 13 Blue Mountains/Sydney
Take the train back to Sydney for a final evening in the big city.
