Phnom Penh – Siem Reap – Sihanoukville
Day 1: Phnom Penh arrival
After being warmly welcomed by your local guide at Phnom Penh airport, travel to your hotel for check in (Room is available after 14:00). Meals on your own account. Overnight at White Mansion Boutique (Deluxe room).
Day 2: Exploration of Phnom Penh (Breakfast)
Today you will take a city tour of Phnom Penh and get to know its origins with a visit to Wat Phnom. Visit the Royal Palace built in 1866 by King Norodom and comprising different structures grouped together in one enclosure. These house are the remarkable collection of Khmer art. Here you’ll find the Silver Pagoda whose key works include a golden Buddha encrusted with 9584 diamonds and weighing 90kgs, and a Buddha featuring emeralds and Baccarat crystal dating from the 17th century.
After lunch break (at your own expense) you will experience Phnom Penh in a truly exceptional way. Witness places rarely visited by tourists and have the chance to immerse yourself in this city of contrasts, its culture, history and its colorful daily life. During the afternoon excursion, you will visit places like the French Quarter, local restaurants, hidden temples and monuments, vibrant markets, architectural highlights and cultural institutes with private short movie screenings. Day 3: Phnom Penh - Toul Sleng- Killing Fields - Siem Reap (Breakfast)
Today, travel to the south of the city to learn about the darkest period of Cambodia’s history: the regime of the Khmer Rouge. Here, you will visit the genocide museum of Tuol Sleng, an old secondary school which was transformed into a detention centre under the Khmer Rouge. The prison gates carry the name ‘S21’. Thousands of prisoners were detained, tortured and killed here. Your visit will undoubtedly leave you feeling quite moved by the experience.
Afterwards, you will travel through the capital to visit the infamous Killing Fields. Peaceful today, this was one of the numerous sites where thousands of people were forced to take their last breath before being killed and buried by the Khmer Rouge communist regime. This is a part of the heritage of Cambodia and this regime ruled the country, as Democratic Kampuchea, from 1975 to 1979.
Then, leave to the airport for a short flight to Siem Reap.
Arrive and be welcomed at Siem Reap Airport. Check in at the hotel (your room is available from 1.30pm). Then, the evening is free at your leisure. Meals on your own account.

Day 4: Sunrise at Angkor Wat – Exclusive lunch at temple - Ta Prohm (Breakfast, Lunch)
Drive through the darkness of pre-dawn to see the sunrise over Angkor Wat as we guide you to the best photo vantage points. Explore the temple in the hours immediately after sunrise when the temple is at its quietest.
Return to hotel for breakfast and some rest.
At your lunch time, we head to Secret Temple, venue of a magical picnic lunch is situated in the Angkor Complex area and can be reached by car, tuk tuk and bicycle. On the way to the temple, you will pass rice fields, small villages and smiling children, who will wave and say “hello”. This quiet and quaint location is off the tourist track and a fantastic opportunity to have a break from exploring the imposing Angkor complex and enjoy an invigorating lunch surrounded by this special atmosphere. After the meal clients can relax and listen to the birds chirping, have a nap or learn more about the temple thanks to our tour guide. Afterwards, enjoy relax-able foot massage.
Continue visiting the smaller temple of Ta Prohm which has been left in its natural, un-restored state, with giant tropical trees bursting through the ruins, their roots clinging like vast tentacles across the walls and roofs.

Day 5: Siem Reap - Angkor Thom - Sunset cocktail on a Gondola boat (Breakfast)
Morning is devoted to visiting the Great City of Angkor Thom beginning at the south gate and the famous Bayon temple of the 12th and 13th centuries. Dedicated to Buddhism, Bayon consists of 54 gigantic towers featuring 216 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara. Then, cross to the Elephant Terrace which, at 350m long, used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s grand audience hall. After, move to the raised terrace of the Leper King, from the 12th century, which bears many beautifully sculptured Apsara statues.
At around 04:00pm, get onto the Gondola boat which is situated at the South Gate of Angkor Thom. This is a very pleasant cruise to relax and cool down from a day of temple visits while enjoying some lovely views.
The Gondola boat will collect you at the pier for a one hour trip. Take this chance to admire the stunning sunset view from the water to the jungle surrounding the area. A short stop to visit one of the beautiful Corner temple (Prasat Chrung) of Angkor Thom Wall where you will enjoy the tranquil atmophere away from the crowds. Meals on your own account. Day 6: Siem Reap - Sihanoukville (Breakfast)
This morning you can relax by your hotel's pool or spend more time exploring the Old Market of Siem Reap. At the appropriate time, your driver (no guide) will take you to the airport for your flight to Sihanoukville.
You are met by your guide and driver at Sihanoukville airport. Then driven to the hotel for checking into your hotel. Meals on your own account. Overnight at Sahaa Beach Resort (Deluxe Garden View room).
