Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Halong – Quang Binh – Hue - Hoi An - Saigon

Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi

Upon arrival, you will be welcome by local guide and driven to the city for hotel check in. Room is at your disposal from 02:00pm. Free time at the remainder of the day. Meals on your own account. Overnight at Silk Path Luxury hotel (Premium Deluxe room)

Day 2: Hanoi Sightseeing (Breakfast)

Full-day tour of Vietnam’s capital city, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, traditional stilt house, One-Pillar Pagoda, and the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature also known as the First University of Vietnam. After lunch break (your expense), visit the Ethnology Museum where you could learn a lot about diversified cultural of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. Return to city centre and enjoy a cyclo tour to discover the colonial side of the city, the city’s traditional 36 streets in the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem lake and Ngoc Son Pagoda at the edge of the lake. Day 3: Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Van Long (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, we will drive out of town to Nho Quan – Van Long (through Ho Chi Minh road). Enjoy the beautiful landscape and take the opportunity to make some photos of the endless rice fields bordered by the mountain ranges. Upon arrival at a typical local house, we take a rest here then enjoy a special local lunch prepared by the host family, try local Snake wine. This is a great possibility to join the real life in Vietnam. After lunch time and some relaxation, get on your bike and cycling along the dike which one side is bordered by lovely Hoang Long river and the other by immense rice fields. Following this experience, you will board on a traditional sampan rowing boat to get deeper into the Van Long Nature Reserve to observe the Ardeola bacchus, Egretta garzetta… which are generally called as white storks by locals… Van Long is a great place to observe migrating raptors (especially during spring and autumn) and it is also the only known breeding site for the magnificent Bonelli’s Eagle in Vietnam. In the late afternoon, check in to your hotel. Dinner on your own account.

Day 4: Hanoi - Halong by private car (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

In the morning, after your breakfast you will check out the hotel then you will be picked up at the hotel by a private car (with guide) and leave Hanoi for Halong Bay, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site with its 3,000 islands of towering limestone dotting the bay and Gulf of Tonkin (180km – 3.5 - 4 hour driving). After arriving at noon, you will board a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on Halong Bay with an excellent menu of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner are served on boat.

Day 5: Halong - Hanoi - Fly to Dong Hoi - Quang Binh (Breakfast)

After tea break, the boat continues to cruise quietly through spectacular limestone formations of Halong Bay. Enjoy this more isolated bay’s spectacular and unique islands of the bay. Eventually, back at the pier you will disembark at around 11.00 am. Transfer back to Hanoi airport by a private car, passing a vast expanse of rice fields of the Red River Delta. You will see scenes of farmers working in the fields, children going to school, and even little pigs being brought into town on motorbikes.

Arrive in Hanoi airport, you will take a brief flight to Dong Hoi - Quang Binh. On arrival in Dong Hoi airport, your driver and guide will pick you up and take you to the hotel in Quang Binh then free. Meals on your own account. Overnight at Sun Spa Resort (Superior Garden View room).

Day 6: Quang Binh - Phong Nha Cave & Paradise Cave (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Phong Nha Cave & Paradise Cave. Phong Nha has been regarded by British Cave Research Association as the top cave in the world due to its 4 top records: the longest underground river, the highest and longest cave, broadest and most beautiful fine sand beaches inside the caves, the most spectacular stalagmites and stalactites. Once you reach at the entrance of cave, you will feel like you are entering in the mouth of mountain. Have lunch then continue to Paradise Cave. This cave is 31 km long, longer than Phong Nha Cave. Being British Caving Association considered the longest dry cave in Asia. It is one of the most magnificent and magical wonders in the world. Paradise Cave celestial splendor between mundane title. Under the stairs into the ground, an immense cave appeared as surprise guests. Compared with Phong Nha Cave, stalactites here more diversified, depending on the perspective and imagination that each person sees different images. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Dinner on your own account.

Day 7: Quang Binh - Hue (Breakfast)

In the right time, you are driven with guide to Hue (3,5 hours – 4 hours). Check into your room at Hue hotel. Meals on your own account. Overnight at Pilgrimage Village (Deluxe room).

Day 8: Hue sightseeing – Sunset cocktail on Vong Canh Hill (Breakfast)

In the morning, visit the famous Imperial Citadel, which was built by Emperor Gia Long in 1804, the citadel's attractions include the Noon Gate or Ngo Mon. The gate leads to the Imperial Palace and was the ceremonial location for the kings' annual announcement of the year's calendar and the names of new doctors of philosophy…

Keeping your journey to Tu Duc Mausoleum, one of the most beautiful tombs of Hue. It was inspired by the calm and is a model of Vietnamese traditional art. It is also an opportunity to learn about the history of Nguyen Dynasty and the French colonial period.

In the later afternoon, you are transferred to Vong Canh Hills where overlooks the marvelous and elaborate modifications of the water colors upon various nuances of sunlight and sky.

Enjoy the magical sunset over the ancient but magnificent Hue while relaxing with an exclusive cocktail prepared for you only. Transfer back to your hotel in the late afternoon. Meals on your own account. Overnight at Pilgrimage Village (Deluxe room).

Day 9: Hue - Danang (Via Hai Van Pass) – Hoi An (B)

Free in the morning.

In the afternoon, depart by car for Danang via the scenic Hai Van Pass, where we will enjoy the spectacular panorama of the central coastline from the summit. Upon arrival in Danang, stop by the Cham Museum to view some of the best-preserved Cham statues before heading to ancient Hoi An town. Arrival in Hoi An late in the afternoon. Check in at the hotel. Meals on your own account.

Day 10: Hoi An - Fishing in all its form - Hoi An Ancient Town (Breakfast, Lunch)

This morning you will tranfer to Hoi An to start your day tour then you will ride your bicycles for 1 hour into the Cam Thanh countryside, you will ride across plains of flooded rice fields and have the opportunity to observe picturesque scenes of the local's daily life with a background of verdant countryside. After arriving at the local boat pier, you will board a boat that will transport you for 45 30 minutes to the seaport of Cua Dai, at the mouth of the Thu Bon River, which runs through Hoi An. At this point, two very different activities will be awaiting you to enjoy. First of all, you will be initiated to a form of fishing using huge nets raised by special pulleys, the catch, accessed only by paddling out in “basket boats”. After this first fun activity, a bamboo basket boat will take you into the mangrove forest. This amazing round basket boat will carry you along for 45 30 minutes and, from there, you will be able to watch and take part in scenes of crab fishing. At this point, you’ll no doubt be invited to try and manoeuvre your boat yourself, but it’s not an easy task making circular paddle movements while trying to make sure you keep your balance! Be that as it may, it's certainly a lot of fun. As a reward for your morning's efforts, you will be accompanied to a local family’s house to enjoy a lunch consisting of local dishes carefully prepared by the fishermen. The friendly and hospitable family will welcome you to give a hand in preparing the lunch or to make toys fashioned from coconut leaves, a very fun and enjoyable activity for kids. After the tour, you will return to your hotel.

In the afternoon, you will take a stroll to visit Hoi An town, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site because of its unusually well-preserved ancient streets and homes. Set out to explore the quaint cobblestone thoroughfares of the township with more than two-century-old Chinese houses. Places of interest include the Japanese Bridge, the Chinese Temple, and Phung Hung Chinese-trading house. Then, you will have some memorable time for enjoying a cup of tea or coffee at Reaching Out Tea House - a very special and unique ancient house where they offer not only fabulous drinks and snacks but also some enriching soul values. Return to your hotel after the tour ends. Dinner on your own account.

Day 13: Hoi An - Danang - Saigon city tour (Breakfast)

Free at leisure until the right time for transfer by local driver (without guide) to the airport in Danang to fly to Saigon.

Upon arrival, you will be picked up by local driver and guide then transferred hotel.

Check in your room and then visit the city with some historic landmarks of the colonial city once known as Saigon include the Old Saigon Post Office, the Chinese district of Cho Lon, the Ben Thanh market and the Thien Hau pagoda. Enjoy a sunset cocktail on the top of Bitexco Tower at the end of the day. Lunch and dinner on your own.

Day 14: Saigon - Cu Chi Tunnels by speed boat (Joining basis) (Breakfast, Lunch)

Free in the morning.

At 11:00am, you will enjoy a joining trip exploring Cu Chi Tunnels with totally new experiences: accessing into Cu Chi by boat instead of car, exploring local life outside Saigon. Embark on your speed boat from Ho Chi Minh City’s pier; your English-speaking guide will introduce you to life along the banks of the Saigon River as your boat gracefully slips through knots of floating water hyacinths on this scenic one-hour boat trip. A traditional Vietnamese lunch of local specialties like lemongrass chicken and caramelized clay pot pork will be served before your visit to the tunnels. After a short documentary, your guide will lead you through the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, dug by resourceful guerrilla fighters to provide communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters during numerous conflicts. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon then free for further exploration in the biggest city of Vietnam on your own way. Dinner on your own account.

Day 15: Saigon - Departure (Breakfast)
