Gondar – Bahar Dar
Day 1– Addis Ababa (The New Flower)
Arrive at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and then check into your hotel. The journey starts with a tour of the capital city Addis Ababa, which literally means “New Flower”. Addis Ababa is Africa’s undisputed diplomatic capital. Headquarters of the African Union (AU) and the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) are located in Addis. Later in the afternoon visit the National Museum and Holy Trinity church, and “Merkato”, the largest market in Africa. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 2- Gondar (UNESCO RECORDED)
Early in the morning transfer to the airport and fly to Gondar. The city of Gondar has sights to impress tourists; the famous Gonderian Castels dating back to 17th century, the bath of Fasiledes and, famous for ancient paintings, the Debre Berhan Selasie church. Overnight at your hotel.
Day3 - Bahar Dar (Lakeside Town)
In the morning drive to to Bahar Dar. Transfer to the hotel for check in. In the afternoon, you will drive 35 km to visit the majestic Blue Nile Falls. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 4- Bahar Dar (Lakeside Town)
Today after breakfast you will take a half day boat cruise over Lake Tana for a visit to the 14th century ancient island monasteries of Ura Kidane Mehret and Azwa Mayam. In the evening fly back to Addis Ababa. Overnight at your hotel.
You will have the last day at your leisure. In the evening, transfer to the airport for departure after a traditional Ethiopian farewell dinner.
