Day 01: Escape to the Central

After breakfast, pick-up from your hotel by our representative and depart for a sightseeing transfer towards the west part of the island. En route, stop at Tanah Lot temple, built on a rock overlooking the scenic west coast of Bali. Afterwards, continue the journey into the western regency of Bali, to the village of Pekutatan. The next two nights you will be staying at Puri Dajuma Cottages, located off the beaten tourist track in a fishing village on the south western coast of Bali. Time to experience the feeling of Balinese life and peacefulness by the Dajuma spirit. (B, D)

Day 02: West Bali Buffalo Races
This Sunday morning tour will bring you to the famous Buffalo Race in Negara which is typical of this part of Bali. This unique tradition, in Balinese called "Sapi Makepung", is held on a course of two kilometers in length, with the riders in a cart pulled by two water buffalos. The races are pretty exciting and present a riot of spectacle with the buffalos decorated colourfully and the winners hailed loudly. After watching the race, you will discover a turtle conservation program initiated by WWF, and the large Jembrana Regency Temple “Jagat Nata”. Return to hotel in the afternoon. (B, D)

Day 03: Off to West Bali National Park
Depart heading north and experience your stay at West Bali National Park. Stay
at the Menjangan Resort, giving you a unique chance to experience the natural
treasures within the Bali Barat National Park. It is the largest resort, with 382
hectares within the boundaries of the Bali Barat National Park, and offers guests
the chance to get close to nature and relax in exquisite surroundings. It is a true
haven of tranquility in direct contact with nature. (B, D)

Day 04: Menjangan Island
Breakfast at the hotel, then by depart by boat to Menjangan Island, which lies
off the western tip of Bali. It is famous for being one of the best diving and
snorkeling spots in the region. Named after a local species of deer (hence the
name of the island is also often translated as Deer Island), Menjangan Island is
technically part of West Bali National Park. Enjoy the whole day snorkeling or
relaxing by the beach (diving at additional cost). Lunch is included. (B, L, D)

Day 05: Continue to Belimbing Village
A leisurely breakfast at the hotel, and at around noon drive towards central Bali to the village of Belimbing. Located on the slope of Mr. Batukaru, this village has a unique view of the rice terraces. Drive along scenic roads until you reach Cempaka Belimbing Resort. Check in and relax or enjoy soft hiking through the rice fields and see the beautiful trees like mangosteen, clove, nutmeg, salak, durian, cacao and many others you may have never seen before. (B, D)

Day 06: Return to the South
After breakfast, before heading back south you will have the option to try one of the activities, either mountain cycling or trekking. After lunch, you will be transferred to the south part of Bali for your next stay or onward flight. (B, L)
